How does the customs process work?

To begin, fill in the form with as much detail as possible. Consider the scene and what is required. What is the performer wearing, how is their hair being worn, is there any dialogue required? The more detail you provide, the faster we can give you a final quote and get your video into production.

Add your gunge products (if it is a messy custom), this will automatically add up on the form, so you can keep an eye on your budget and costs (please remember through, even after you submit the form, there is absolutely no obligation to purchase, so no pressure!).

Once the form has been sent to us, we'll likely ask you a few questions, tell you the final price and let you know a time slot for filming and sending to you.

Once you are happy with everything, if you are a new customer, we ask for a 30% deposit. This is just a security measure for us as we have to purchase the products and book the performers, plus make up all the products. This deposit is made via bank transfer.

We will then film your custom on the date given and keep you up to date via email on the progress, including when it has been filmed, and when it is going through post-production (editing and formatting).

Once it is ready, we will email you a couple of screenshots to show the completed custom has been made and ask you to pay the remaining balance via bacs bank transfer. We will then email you a link to the download to which you can download you video for up to 7 days. If you need to re-download after 7 days, you can contact us for the link to be reactivate free of charge.

Why can I not pay via my credit card or PayPal?

We accept all major credit cards on our storefronts and subscription services, however, we are bound by the rules and regulations as set out by the cards association in which Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and vendors such as PayPal all subscribe to. This mean that we cannot accept card payments for customs. The reason for this is that card association guidelines state that purchases, including digital content must be dispatched within 4 business days. As you can appreciate, with a bespoke custom video this is not possible as we have to prepare everything beforehand such as the booking of the models, studio time and the clothing/products etc.

You are automatically protected by our buyer protection promise which means that you will receive a 100% refund on any monies paid for your custom in the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your custom video for whatever reason.

What if I am unable to download my video?

Don't worry, we have several ways to ensure you get your video, from download links on the site to our storefront and sending files via Wetransfer. If the 7 day period has passed and you have forgotten to download your video, please contact us and we can re-enable the link for you. There is no charge for this service.

Will my video be made available to the public?

If you select, 'I consent to my custom video being made available by LiquidX to reduce my fees', then your video may be made available on LiquidXDownloads, LiquidXMovies and in some instances, third party content services. However, any names (unless character or fictitious names), are always removed from any public broadcast. If you do not wish for your video to be made available, you can select the option, 'I would like my custom video to be exclusive to me only and not redistributed'. There are additional charges for this. Both of these options are available on the customs form.

How much do custom videos cost?

Custom prices depend entirely on what is happening, how much product (gunge, pies etc) we need to purchase and how much it will cost to clean. Prices for gunge tank customs can be as little as 60.
You can set your budget and we will tailor each custom to your requirements and budget.

How long is a custom video?

A custom video is typically around 15 minutes in length, however we can film up to an hour per video.

When will I get my video?

Your video will be delivered within 48 hours of cleared payment. You will be given an estimated completion date before you commit to purchasing. You will be asked to make a fully refundable 30 deposit payment up front via bank transfer (new customers only) so we can proceed in purchasing the materials required for your custom, then the remaining once the video is compete and ready for download.

What will happen in my custom?

What you ask us to do. If it is practical and able to be filmed on set, we will film it for you.

Can I sell the video?

Unfortunately not. LiquidX retains the rights to the video, however you can contact us for commercial licensing for resale on third party platforms or social media sites.

How will I receive my custom video?

You will receive a secure download link with your video. The files can be downloaded to multiple operating systems and devices. Your download link will expire after 7 days as a security measure. We encourage you to make backups of download files. However, you can request the link be re-enabled if required.

Is the video filmed in HD?

Yes, all videos will be HD 1920 x 1080px unless requested otherwise.

What is the average turnaround?

Depending on the complexity of your shoot, the average turnaround is 14 days. Full payment is only taken once your video is ready for download. Some models or devices may only be available at set times throughout the year , we will let you know if this is the case before you commit to placing your order.

We will keep you up to date throughout the filming and arrangement process and you will have a dedicated point of contact available to you throughout should you have any questions.

Can I see a sample of my video before I download?

Yes, we can send you a 20 second watermarked sample of your finished video before you purchase and download.

What if I submit the form and then want to add or remove something?

As long as it is not within 4 days of the shooting date you can contact customs@liquidx.tv or reply to your confirmation email if you want to make changes or amendments. If changing the quantity or type of products, there may be additional charges. These will be made clear to you via email.
You will have an agent as a point of call to ask any questions about your custom should you need to.

What happens if you cannot produce my video?

If you have paid a deposit and we are unable to produce your video for any reason, we will provide you with a full refund.

What happens if I am unable to download my video or there are any other problems

Contact us at info@bluelightmedia.org.uk. We will look into it right away, there are many ways of ensuring your content gets to you and we will have backups available. If you lose your content, you may contact us to re-download, however we advise making backups of your file as we cannot always guarantee to keep copies on own own servers indefinitely.
